Sweet Treats

To quote my son ” Rain! Rain! Go Away… “

It’s been a rainy week in Marikina. We can’t go out even for 15mins just to go to a nearby park or walk around the block. Typhoon Egay has certainly brought back memories from the past. I remember playing in the rain while making paper boats or just letting the cold water cascade on my body. I could even hear my granddad telling me to go inside the house and watch tv instead of playing childish games in our backyard. Memories – both happy & sad kept flashing in my mind.

I had this urge of drinking Mocha Frappe or Coffee Jelly at Starbucks. I want to curl up on the sofa and indulge myself with the books I’ve been meaning to read for months. I would like to watch my favorite drama series on tv while looking at the sleeping form of my son beside me.

I’ve been eating a lot for the past few days. I’ve gain xtra lbs on top of my current weight. I’m depressed and the weather is making it worst. HAY!!! As much as I want to enjoy the cool breeze in the evening, I can’t. The clashing sound of thunder is keeping my baby awake most of the time. GRRR!!!!

When will it end? Soon…. I hope!
